Hi, I’m Jenn Lazetera.

I'm the owner and instructor of this quaint cottage studio in the Big Thompson Canyon. I have been teaching Pilates for 7 years, with a comprehensive certification in both classical and contemporary Pilates. Ever since I started teaching Pilates at a small boutique studio in Denver, it has been my dream to open my own studio. Now, after 7 years of teaching at and managing several successful Pilates studios in the Denver metro area, I have created an intimate space in the mountains outside of Estes Park. I am also the owner of Club Pilates Old Town in Fort Collins, Colorado.

I started practicing Pilates in 2013, and loved how it built up my strength, flexibility and mental health. My career at the time was extremely stressful, and I looked forward to my Pilates classes to help me destress and move my body in a safe, low-impact manner. I am a graduate of Colorado School of Mines and was a Petroleum Engineer for 11 years. After the downturn of the oil industry in 2015, I decided to make a career change, and completed a 500-hour comprehensive teacher training in 2016 at Joie De Vivre Pilates in Denver, CO. I use my background as a scientist and engineer to look at the body bio-mechanically, and cue my clients with very clear and concise instruction. I regularly add to my knowledge by taking additional courses in anatomy and kinesiology.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided it was time to expand my knowledge and try something new. I enrolled in an immersive holistic health coaching program. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition*, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources. To dive deeper into the issues of imbalances in the microbiome (the “second brain”), I also completed an advanced speciality in gut health. I will be able to help my clients reduce inflammation, boost immunity, and optimize digestion.

My Approach to Health Coaching

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

Dream it

I work with my clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because I understand that life happens and your needs will change. I want to equip you with the self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstance. I believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert, not the latest magazine article or fad diet book.

Build it

Let’s define what you value most from your well-being. We’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your coach, I will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working toward.
